Harvest Hands Grocery Delivery Program

This summer, individuals with disabilities will be growing, gathering, and giving back— delivering fresh produce to seniors in need

The Process:

We employ young adults with disabilities and pay a bi-weekly stipend.

We train them using real-life experiences that build confidence, life skills, and character.

While employed, they coordinate with local gardens and farms to source and purchase fresh produce and meat

They deliver fresh produce and meat to low-income senior citizens throughout Chicago several times a week
